GLADSTONE, N.J. – April 30, 2020 – Due to concern for the safety of all attendees of Monmouth at the Team and with continuing guidance issued by local and state authorities regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), the 125th Annual Monmouth at the Team has been canceled. The anticipated dates for 2021 are August 16-23.
“It is with a heavy heart and in the best interest for all exhibitors, sponsors, vendors and spectators that we cancel our 125th annual show,” said Tucker Ericson, co-owner of Monmouth at the Team. “We hope all our friends stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.”
Despite anticipation that horse shows will be underway in August, the intimate nature and popularity of the Monmouth at the Team creates concern for the viability of providing social distancing protocols and a safe environment. Show management stresses that the health and well-being of all involved is the top priority.
The Monmouth at the Team management and staff thank the sponsors and vendors who, without their generous support, this historic horse show would not be possible.
In conjunction with The Nature Conservancy, Monmouth at the Team is planning a virtual competition to be held this summer complete with class prizes. As the online competition model is developed, more information will be available on MonmouthAtTheTeam.com.
